This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced employment tax professional who wants to work with a wide-ranging client base, lead on complex technical matters, and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team.

About the Team

Our National Employer Solutions team is a forward-thinking specialist group focused on three core areas:

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Building strong, trusted client relationships and acting as a go-to adviser

  • Leading the delivery of technically complex, commercially focused advice

  • Supporting Partners and Directors in identifying opportunities and winning new business

  • Managing, mentoring, and developing junior colleagues

  • Collaborating across service lines to deliver integrated client solutions

  • Contributing to the ongoing growth of the national employer solutions practice

Key Areas of Work

You will advise on a broad and varied range of employment tax matters, including:

  • Employment status and off-payroll working

  • PAYE and NIC compliance reviews

  • HMRC enquiries and disclosures

  • Expenses and benefits planning

  • Salary sacrifice and optional remuneration arrangements

  • Termination payments

  • Internationally mobile employees and social security

  • Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) matters

  • Due diligence and transaction support

  • Reward and incentive planning

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded professional who can combine technical excellence with strong leadership and relationship management skills.

You should ideally bring:

  • Strong technical knowledge of UK employment tax

  • Proven experience in managing a client portfolio

  • A track record of delivering employment tax advisory work

  • The ability to identify and develop new business opportunities

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

  • Strong project management and team leadership capability

  • A relevant professional qualification such as CTA, ACA, ACCA, ATT, or equivalent

Why Join RSM UK?

At RSM, you’ll be part of a firm that combines the scale of a global network with the energy and agility of a growing business.

We offer an environment where you can:

  • Make a genuine impact with clients and colleagues

  • Work on complex, meaningful assignments

  • Develop your career in a supportive and ambitious firm

  • Collaborate with talented specialists across the UK

  • Help shape the future of a growing national practice
