The Opportunity

We are looking for a Tax Compliance & Reporting Manager to join our global tax team, reporting directly to the Global Head of Tax.

In this role, you will play a critical part in managing direct tax compliance and reporting across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring the business remains aligned with international tax regulations and reporting standards.

This is more than a compliance-focused role. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with teams across the business, contribute to advisory initiatives, and help enhance tax processes through the use of AI tools, automation, and existing intelligent systems.


What You’ll Be Responsible For

Global Direct Tax Compliance

  • Lead and oversee global direct tax compliance activities across multiple jurisdictions.

  • Ensure the timely and accurate preparation and submission of:

  • Corporate income tax returns

  • Tax disclosures

  • Statutory tax filings

  • Work closely with:

  • External tax advisors

  • Regional finance teams

  • Internal stakeholders across the business

Tax Reporting & Provisioning

  • Support and help lead the annual global tax reporting process under IFRS.

  • Manage tax provisioning activities, including:

  • Deferred tax analysis

  • Assessment of tax risk positions

  • Partner with the Global Head of Tax to ensure reporting is technically sound and delivered on time.

Tax Planning & Advisory Support

  • Contribute to cross-border tax planning projects and strategic initiatives.

  • Provide guidance on:

  • Intercompany transactions

  • Intra-group service models

  • Governance-led tax implementation

  • Ensure tax structures are both technically robust and commercially aligned.

Strategic Business Partnering

  • Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders and internal teams on complex tax matters.

  • Identify and communicate tax implications related to:

  • Business decisions

  • New initiatives

  • Market or regulatory developments

  • Support smarter decision-making through proactive tax insight.

Audit & Risk Management

  • Coordinate tax audits and tax authority enquiries across jurisdictions.

  • Maintain clear, accurate, and comprehensive documentation.

  • Focus on:

  • Risk mitigation

  • Strong audit readiness

  • Effective issue resolution

Controls, Governance & Process Improvement

  • Partner with finance and accounting teams to strengthen:

  • Tax-related internal controls

  • Tax governance frameworks

  • Process efficiency

  • Drive automation and champion the use of AI-enabled solutions to improve tax operations.

Systems & Workflow Optimisation

  • Maintain and improve tax compliance systems, workflows, and reporting calendars.

  • Increase:

  • Visibility

  • Efficiency

  • Accuracy

  • Operational control


What We’re Looking For

Professional Qualifications

  • ACA, CTA, or an equivalent professional qualification

  • Strong grounding in tax accounting

Experience

  • At least 7 years’ experience in international tax compliance and reporting

  • Experience may come from:

  • An in-house tax function

  • A professional services/practice environment

Technical Knowledge

  • Strong expertise in IFRS

  • Proven experience building, managing, or maintaining global tax compliance frameworks

  • Exposure to a business with a significant US footprint is helpful, though US GAAP ASC 740 experience is not required

Skills & Capabilities

  • Excellent analytical thinking and attention to detail

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
