The Opportunity
We are looking for a Transfer Pricing Manager to provide management support to the UK Transfer Pricing team at Forvis Mazars UK. This role is central to a fast-growing, advisory-led practice with a strong commitment to quality and client service.
You will play an important part in shaping the continued growth of the team, developing trusted client relationships, and supporting highly engaged colleagues. With a strong understanding of client businesses and the sectors in which they operate, you will help deliver practical, high-quality transfer pricing solutions in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
As part of the UK transfer pricing team, you will also be closely connected to the wider Forvis Mazars international transfer pricing community, giving you the opportunity to contribute within a globally connected network.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will take the lead on a range of technical, commercial, and team-focused activities, including:
Leading complex functional analysis interviews with confidence and insight
Using proactive listening skills to challenge assumptions and clearly identify entity contributions to:
risk management
intangibles
DEMPE functions
Assessing transfer pricing scenarios and anticipating a range of possible solutions
Applying transfer pricing principles persuasively to specific client facts and circumstances
Supporting profitability and operational efficiency through:
effective use of technology
smart pricing decisions
efficient resource management
Working closely with senior stakeholders to manage transfer pricing projects from:
business development
proposal stage
through to successful delivery
Contributing to the growth of the practice while helping develop and support team members
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking an experienced and commercially minded professional who brings both technical transfer pricing expertise and strong leadership capability.
Qualifications
ACA, CTA, or equivalent qualification
Alternatively:
legal background
HMRC background
international experience
economist with postgraduate qualifications
Experience
The successful candidate will already have experience in preparing, reviewing, and delivering work across key transfer pricing areas, such as:
Transfer pricing policy design and planning
Multi-jurisdictional documentation projects
Leading and managing teams to deliver successful outcomes
Ideally, experience in Thin Capitalization projects
Skills & Strengths
