Are you ready to take the next step in your tax career with a firm that combines technical excellence with a genuinely supportive culture? Blick Rothenberg is looking for a US/UK Tax Senior Associate (EPC) to join its dynamic team and help deliver exceptional service to a diverse client base.
This is an exciting opportunity to grow within an award-winning firm where your development is taken seriously, your contribution is valued, and your career path is clearly supported.
Why Join Blick Rothenberg?
Blick Rothenberg is a leading tax, accountancy, and business advisory firm, built on a foundation of technical expertise and personal integrity. The firm is known for its partner-led approach, ensuring clients receive a high-quality, relationship-driven service at every stage of their journey.
At the heart of the business is a commitment to the success of its people, clients, and firm. Teams work collaboratively across disciplines to provide joined-up advice throughout the client lifecycle, taking the time to understand every business in depth and build long-term, trusted relationships.
Blick Rothenberg’s culture is shaped by four core values:
Collaboration

These values influence how the firm works internally and how it delivers outstanding service externally.
A Culture Where You Can Thrive
Blick Rothenberg is committed to fostering a workplace where people can truly flourish. The firm actively promotes a culture that is inclusive, nurturing, and empowering, creating an environment where everyone can fulfil their potential and be themselves.
The business welcomes talented individuals from the widest possible talent pool and is dedicated to improving diversity across all levels of the organisation.
With flexible working options, structured learning, and defined career pathways, you will have the support you need to shape your future while maintaining balance in your personal and professional life.
The Opportunity
As a US/UK Tax Senior Associate, you will play a key role in preparing and reviewing tax returns, supporting clients with complex cross-border tax matters, and building strong working relationships both internally and externally.
This position offers the chance to deepen your expertise in US and UK taxation while contributing to a growing, transatlantic-focused team. You will also benefit from ongoing training, direct exposure to senior leadership, and the opportunity to work closely with the partner leading the team.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, your responsibilities will include:
Preparing US and UK tax returns using client information provided in a variety of formats, with guidance and support from your line manager
Developing your knowledge of tax return preparation processes and improving your ability to manage your workload effectively
Sense-checking client tax positions and explaining the reasons behind liabilities, repayments, or nil balances to reviewers
Supporting clients in avoiding double taxation, including accurate treatment of foreign versus US-sourced income and correct application of foreign tax credits on both US and UK tax returns
Identifying tax filing requirements and understanding the implications of US ownership of non-US entities, and non-US ownership of US entities
Reviewing straightforward tax returns with accuracy and attention to detail
Self-reviewing your work thoroughly before submitting it to a manager, ensuring calculations and return figures are fully aligned
Requesting and tracking required information needed to complete tax returns, highlighting missing details and flagging potential tax issues to managers
What You’ll Bring
This role would suit a talented tax professional who enjoys both technical work and client interaction, and who is looking for an opportunity to develop within a collaborative and ambitious team.
You will ideally demonstrate:
A strong interest in US and UK tax compliance
The ability to manage work with accuracy, ownership, and attention to detail
Confidence in analysing client data and identifying potential issues
Strong communication skills, including the ability to discuss tax outcomes clearly
A proactive approach to learning and professional development
The desire to build strong client relationships and contribute to a growing team
Training, Development & Career Growth
Blick Rothenberg offers a structured and supportive learning environment designed to help you succeed. You will have access to:
Study support
A structured internal training programme covering key tax concepts and issues
Ongoing on-the-job development
Direct exposure to and collaboration with the partner leading the team
Clearly defined career pathways that allow you to take ownership of your progression
Wider learning and development opportunities to support both professional qualifications and personal ambitions
This is a role where you can continue building your technical capability while also gaining greater exposure to portfolio management and client relationship responsibilities.
