About the Role

Transaction Tax Professional

Kroll | Transaction Advisory Services

Kroll is seeking an experienced Transaction Tax professional to join its growing Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong and commercially minded individual to work across UK and international tax due diligence and structuring projects within a dynamic, client-facing environment.

As part of Kroll’s wider TAS function, you will collaborate with specialists delivering Financial Due Diligence, Tax Due Diligence, deal structuring advice, and related advisory services. You will also provide tax support to other teams across the firm, helping deliver joined-up solutions to clients on complex transactions.

This role offers the chance to accelerate your career, strengthen your leadership and business development skills, and take ownership of your own portfolio of clients in a setting that is varied, challenging, and highly rewarding.

The Opportunity

This is a technical, client-facing role suited to someone with strong UK tax expertise, solid deal experience, and the ability to manage projects across both domestic and international markets.

You will play a key role in delivering high-quality tax advice, managing multiple workstreams, and working closely with clients, internal teams, and overseas tax advisors to ensure seamless transaction support.

Key Responsibilities

In this position, you will be expected to:

  • Lead and deliver UK tax due diligence and structuring projects from both a technical and project management perspective

  • Apply strong UK tax technical knowledge to support transactions with a practical, commercial, and solution-oriented approach

  • Manage international tax due diligence and structuring assignments, coordinating with overseas tax advisors where required

  • Work closely with the wider Financial Due Diligence (FDD) and Transaction Advisory teams to provide an integrated client experience

  • Serve as a key point of contact for:

  • Clients

  • Target businesses

  • Internal teams requiring tax support

  • Build and strengthen client relationships proactively

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities that generate work for both the tax team and the wider firm

  • Support the continued growth of the team through strong delivery, collaboration, and commercial awareness

What We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you should bring a blend of technical capability, project management expertise, and strong interpersonal skills.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • Educated to degree level with at least a 2:1 or equivalent

  • Professionally qualified as one of the following:

  • ACA

  • CTA

  • Lawyer

  • Big 4 or Magic Circle training is advantageous

  • Minimum 2 years’ Post Qualification Experience (PQE) in UK tax

  • At least 1 year of experience in a transaction tax role

Technical & Professional Skills

  • Proven experience in tax project management

  • Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality projects without excessive supervision

  • Capable of managing multiple concurrent workstreams in a fast-paced environment

  • Comfortable working under pressure while consistently meeting deadlines

Communication & Personal Attributes

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to explain complex tax concepts clearly to non-tax specialists
