About the Team

Our Business Tax Advisory team works closely with medium-sized business groups, helping them navigate complexity, manage risk, and unlock opportunity. This is a team where collaboration is genuine, development is encouraged, and people are given the support they need to succeed.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a tax professional who is passionate about advisory work and enjoys supporting medium-sized business groups with practical, strategic solutions. This role offers the chance to take ownership of client relationships, contribute to business growth, and play a key part in delivering high-quality tax advice.


Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Build and strengthen client relationships, developing a deep understanding of their businesses, challenges, and future goals.

  • Provide strategic corporate tax planning and advisory services tailored to client activities and transactions.

  • Anticipate client needs and identify risks, helping businesses make informed and confident decisions.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver joined-up, commercially focused solutions.

  • Manage a portfolio of clients and engagements, including fee negotiation and work-in-progress oversight.

  • Identify new opportunities for advisory work and contribute to the continued growth of the business.


About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring a combination of technical strength, commercial awareness, and relationship-building ability. You’ll be confident working with medium-sized business groups and motivated by the opportunity to deliver value beyond compliance.

You will ideally have:

  • ACA and/or CTA qualification, or be qualified by experience

  • Strong experience managing a portfolio of medium-sized groups

  • A solid background in corporate tax advisory services

  • Excellent technical tax knowledge, particularly in relation to medium-sized businesses

  • Proven experience in managing client relationships

  • A track record of identifying, developing, and delivering advisory projects

  • Confidence in building new relationships and winning advisory work
