The Opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Tax Analyst to join our in-house tax team. This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional who enjoys working across borders, tackling complex tax matters, and contributing to a high-performing global business.
In this role, you will play a key part in supporting tax compliance and reporting across the EMEA and APAC regions. You will help ensure the business remains compliant with direct and indirect tax regulations while supporting efficient, well-controlled tax processes.
What You Will Be Doing
Tax Reporting
Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual tax provisions, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.
Manage tax-sensitive general ledger accounts and support close activities at month-end and quarter-end.
Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations related to tax.
Tax Compliance
Gather, validate, and organize data required for global tax filings, including:
Corporate income tax
Withholding tax
VAT/GST
Local business taxes
Review externally prepared direct and indirect tax returns for technical accuracy, completeness, and timely filing.
Prepare in-house tax filings and reconciliations where relevant.
Oversee tax payments, including forecasting, instalment calculations, and deadline monitoring.
Maintain a detailed global tax compliance calendar to ensure obligations are met across jurisdictions.
Support tax audits and examinations by preparing documentation and responding to information requests.
Tax Advisory and Strategic Support
Research and assess tax questions raised by the business, providing clear and practical guidance.
Coordinate responses to information requests and assist in obtaining technical tax advice where needed.
Support the implementation of:
Transfer pricing policies
Intercompany agreements
Tax restructuring initiatives
Monitor changes in tax legislation and regulations, including emerging compliance requirements such as:
Digital Services Tax
OECD Pillar Two
Country-by-Country Reporting (CBCR)
EU Directives
Contribute to the continuous improvement of tax operations by documenting, standardizing, and optimizing tax processes and controls.
Provide support on ad hoc tax matters and cross-functional business projects.
What We’re Looking For
Essential Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in:
Tax compliance
Tax accounting
Corporate tax
VAT
Experience gained in either a public accounting firm or a corporate environment.
Strong understanding of tax compliance processes and reporting responsibilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple functions.
Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving capability.
Preferred Experience
Knowledge of EMEA corporate tax and VAT regulations.
In-house tax experience within a multinational organization.
Exposure to:
Global or regional VAT management
Transfer pricing
Cross-border and international tax matters
Familiarity with tax technology and ERP platforms such as Workday.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Confidence presenting ideas and information clearly to a wide range of stakeholders.
