The Opportunity

We are looking for a Tax Technology Assistant Manager to join our Birmingham office and play an important role in advancing the digital transformation of our Tax function.

Joining a fast-paced, high-growth Tax Technology team, you will help connect tax technologists with the broader tax service line, ensuring technology is embedded effectively to improve efficiency, collaboration, and performance.

What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will be responsible for helping drive innovation and operational improvement across the tax function.

Key responsibilities include:

• Partnering with tax teams to identify technology requirements and uncover opportunities to improve processes and workflows.

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining tax technology tools, systems, and solutions.

• Acting as a key link between tax technologists and the wider tax service line, encouraging effective communication and collaboration.

• Supporting the development and delivery of the tax technology strategy in line with broader business objectives.

• Providing training and guidance to tax professionals to help them maximise the value of technology tools and platforms.

• Managing technology-related projects, ensuring delivery is on time, effective, and aligned to expectations.

• Reviewing the performance and impact of tax technology solutions and recommending enhancements where needed.

• Keeping up to date with market trends, emerging technologies, and leading practices within tax technology.
