The Opportunity
We are currently seeking our next Belfast Tax Senior Associate to join our team in a hybrid working model based in Belfast.
Location: Belfast (Hybrid)
Grade: Senior Associate
Contract Type: Permanent
What You’ll Bring
We are looking for a talented professional who combines technical strength with commercial awareness and a collaborative mindset.
Your background is likely to include:
A relevant professional qualification, or active progression toward one
Examples include:
Chartered Accountant
Chartered Institute of Tax
Or an equivalent qualification relevant to your specialism
Strong technical capability within your area of expertise
A minimum of three years’ experience in a professional services or similar environment
Exposure to working on complex client assignments
The confidence to communicate effectively with both clients and colleagues
What You Can Expect in the Role
As a Senior Associate, your role will evolve as your career develops. From the outset, you can expect to play an important role in both compliance and advisory work across a broad client base.
Initially, your responsibilities will include:
Supporting compliance and advisory projects for a varied portfolio of clients
Contributing to:
Cross-border engagements
Northern Ireland-focused assignments
Multinational client work
Working closely with an experienced management team across compliance, advisory, and project-led activities
Acting as a key point of contact for clients on day-to-day matters
Assisting in the preparation of:
Technical analysis
Reports
Submissions to regulatory bodies where required
Reviewing work completed by junior team members
Providing coaching, mentoring, and constructive feedback to support their development
Collaborating with wider KPMG teams, including:
Deal Advisory
Audit
Consulting
Bringing energy, initiative, and strong communication skills to every client engagement
