Corporate Tax Specialist

KBR is seeking a Corporate Tax Specialist to join its UK, Europe and Africa tax team, reporting to the Regional Senior Tax Manager in Leatherhead and working closely with the Group Tax function in Houston. The role focuses on supporting UK corporate tax compliance and reporting, while also contributing to the broader regional tax function. It offers exposure to a global tax and finance environment within a large multinational engineering and technology business. The successful candidate will prepare UK corporation tax computations, returns and supporting analyses, assist with tax payments and quarterly instalment forecasting, and gather financial data needed for filings. They will also support monthly, quarterly and year-end tax accounting, including current and deferred tax calculations under UK GAAP and US GAAP, statutory account disclosures, and responses to auditor queries. The position also covers tax governance and advisory support. Responsibilities include maintaining documentation for tax positions and controls, supporting SAO compliance, assisting with HMRC enquiries, and providing tax input on day-to-day business matters such as expense treatment and withholding tax. The role also includes initial technical tax research, transfer pricing support, and local file documentation. KBR is looking for a qualified or part-qualified tax professional, such as ACA, ACCA or CTA, with experience in UK corporate tax gained either in a Big 4 firm or a large multinational. Strong Excel skills are required, while familiarity with Onesource and Power BI would be advantageous.
