EMEA Tax Manager

JLL is seeking an EMEA Tax Manager to support tax planning, compliance, and reporting across the region for its US-listed global real estate business. The role is split roughly equally between planning and compliance, with core responsibility for preparing and reviewing current and deferred tax provisions under US GAAP, ensuring prior year adjustments are accurate, and maintaining robust SOX-compliant processes. The position also involves overseeing and reviewing tax returns across the EMEA region, including coordination with outsourced providers and internal accounting teams to ensure information is delivered accurately and on time. In addition, the successful candidate will handle day-to-day VAT and withholding tax queries from the business and contribute to wider regional tax governance. Beyond routine compliance, the role offers exposure to strategic tax matters, including assessing the tax impact of reorganisations, acquisitions, disposals, and other ad hoc planning projects. This makes it a broad in-house tax opportunity with a mix of technical reporting, operational compliance, and project-based advisory work. JLL is looking for a Big 4 qualified Chartered Accountant with strong corporate tax expertise and a solid understanding of international tax issues across EMEA. Experience in a US multinational tax environment is preferred but not essential. Candidates should be confident communicators, analytically strong, comfortable working under pressure, and possess very good technical knowledge of UK corporation tax; familiarity with US GAAP tax reporting is helpful.
