About the Role
NomosFIT is seeking an experienced Fractional Corporate Tax Lawyer to support a growing volume of transactional work for a well-regarded UK law firm. The role focuses on pre-deal transactional tax across private equity, corporate and real estate matters, with emphasis on tax structuring, due diligence, and drafting and negotiating key deal documentation. It is aimed at senior tax lawyers who can step into live matters quickly and operate effectively in fast-paced, deal-driven environments.
The successful lawyer will work closely with corporate and finance teams on complex, high-value transactions, particularly M&A and private equity deals. Prior experience in transactional tax within a suitable law firm or comparable setting is important, and sponsor-side exposure as well as familiarity with deal documentation would be especially useful. The expectation is that the consultant will provide immediate practical value and high-level legal support from the outset.
This is structured as a flexible fractional engagement through NomosFIT’s consultant model. Work volume is expected to vary with deal flow, typically ranging from around 25 hours per month to roughly one to two days per week. The arrangement is designed to provide scalable support as transaction levels change.
The position can be performed largely remotely and offers the chance to work with high-quality teams on sophisticated transactions. There is also strong potential for repeat instructions and ongoing work as the client’s transaction pipeline continues to grow.
