The Opportunity

We are looking for a talented tax professional to join us at **Manager level**, although we would also welcome applications from ambitious **Assistant Managers** ready to take the next step in their career.

In this role, you will work with a broad and varied portfolio of multinational clients, supporting them on strategic tax matters across both inbound and outbound operations. This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys technical complexity, commercial thinking, and working in a collaborative international environment.

What You’ll Be Working On

You will advise clients on a wide range of international tax matters, helping them navigate evolving business needs and a rapidly changing global tax landscape.

Typical project areas include:

• Corporate tax advisory

• International tax structuring across multiple jurisdictions

• Business reorganisations

• International expansion projects

• Operating model redesign

• Support on tax controversy matters

• Advising on global tax policy developments, including BEPS 2.0

Key Responsibilities

As an International Tax Manager, you will play a central role in both client delivery and team development.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing international tax advisory support to help clients achieve their wider commercial objectives

• Managing the delivery of technically robust advice across areas such as:

• Tax structuring

• Refinancing

• Legal and business structure optimisation

• Pre- and post-transaction reorganisations

• Tax authority enquiries

• Technical support for the wider corporate tax team

• Collaborating with specialists across other departments and international KPMG offices to coordinate input on complex projects

• Coaching and developing junior team members, helping to build capability and confidence across the team

• Building strong client relationships and gaining a deep understanding of their businesses to identify future opportunities

• Preparing and managing proposals for new work, including tender submissions and client presentations

• Supporting business development activity alongside Directors and Partners, including identifying and pursuing growth opportunities

• Leading by example as a role model for KPMG’s values and behaviours

Who We’re Looking For

This role is ideal for someone with a strong grounding in UK corporate tax, a curious mindset, and the drive to build a successful career advising international businesses.

You should bring:

• ACA, CA, CTA, ACCA or an equivalent professional qualification

• Strong knowledge of UK corporate tax and accounting principles

• The ability to lead, coach, and develop team members

• Confidence in managing stakeholders and working across multiple teams

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability

• A commercial mindset and practical approach to providing advice

• A proactive attitude towards identifying business opportunities

• The ability to manage multiple projects and relationships effectively

• High levels of energy, drive, and enthusiasm

• A commitment to continuous technical development

• A naturally inquisitive mindset and strong attention to detail

Previous experience working with multinational businesses is helpful, but it is not essential. We are particularly interested in individuals who combine technical strength with ambition, curiosity, and a desire to make an impact.
