  • Support ETR forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis against prior periods and plans

  • Review and assist with statutory tax disclosures and financial statement notes

Governance, Controls & Documentation

You will contribute to the strength of the Group’s tax control environment by supporting documentation, testing, and audit readiness.

  • Prepare and maintain documentation required for internal and external audits, including:

  • Tax provision workpapers

  • Deferred tax support schedules

  • Uncertain Tax Position (UTP) analyses

  • Support Tax Control Framework (TCF) documentation and testing activities

  • Contribute to the implementation of new tax accounting and reporting requirements, including initiatives such as Pillar Two

  • Lead and maintain technical tax accounting knowledge for Group Reporting, particularly under IAS 12

Tax Risk, Audits & Provisions

You will help monitor tax risks across the region and ensure that audits, disputes, and provisions are properly assessed and reflected in reporting.

  • Track regional tax audits, disputes, and exposure areas

  • Support the assessment and documentation of tax risks and provisions

  • Assist with the preparation of UTP analyses in coordination with Group Tax

  • Ensure tax reporting and provisions appropriately reflect audit outcomes

Regional Coordination & Governance

You will serve as an important link between local markets and Group Tax, helping to maintain consistency in policy application and compliance oversight.

  • Act as the regional point of contact between local markets and Group Tax

  • Promote consistent application of Group tax policies, internal guidelines, and the tax control framework

  • Support oversight of the Group’s tax compliance programme, including review of jurisdictional filings

Data, Systems & Process Improvement

You will support the enhancement of tax processes through better systems, improved data quality, and more efficient reporting tools.

  • Contribute to process improvements in tax reporting, including standardisation and automation

  • Support data quality enhancements across reporting activities

  • Work with Finance and IT on ERP and reporting systems, including SAP

  • Assist with adoption of tax technology tools

  • Prepare tax reporting packs, dashboards, and management presentations

Additional Project Support

This role also offers exposure to a broad range of tax projects and business initiatives across the Group.

  • Support the Head of Tax on projects as they arise

  • Assist other members of the Group Tax team with ad hoc queries, projects, and transactions as needed

What Will Help You Succeed

Essential Requirements

We are looking for a tax professional with strong technical capabilities, commercial awareness, and the ability to work effectively across a complex international environment.
