Nord Anglia Education is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Senior International Tax Manager to join our Finance team at our global headquarters in London.
This is a unique opportunity to work at the centre of a dynamic, international organisation supporting a network of 90+ schools across 35+ countries. From London, our central teams collaborate across Finance, Risk, Corporate Development, Legal, HR, Marketing, Admissions and Communications, and Education to drive performance and innovation across the group.

The Opportunity
As Senior International Tax Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Group Deputy Head of Tax across a broad international portfolio.
Your remit will span international tax support for:
Acquisition integrations and group restructurings
Tax-efficient initiatives informed by compliance and reporting data
Non-UK tax audits and controversy matters
Transfer pricing management across the group
Business-led tax advisory and strategic support
This role has significant international scope, covering operations across:
Europe
The Americas
Southeast Asia
The Middle East
India
China
Hong Kong
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering expert international tax support across the group, while helping shape and strengthen tax processes, policies, and strategic initiatives.
Your core focus will include:
Providing specialist advice to global regions on international tax and transfer pricing matters
Partnering with external tax advisors across multiple jurisdictions to deliver practical, commercially aligned tax solutions
Leading and supporting non-UK tax audits, ruling negotiations, and transfer pricing audit defence
Managing and enhancing transfer pricing documentation, including the Group Master File and Local Files
Supporting international tax planning, including:
cash repatriation strategies
funding structures
acquisition integrations
Monitoring global tax legislative developments, evaluating business impact, and driving implementation of required changes
Contributing to legal entity simplification projects and broader restructuring initiatives across the group
Documenting tax implications of transactions for compliance, reporting, and governance purposes
Acting as a trusted advisor to regional finance teams and central functions by providing clear, pragmatic guidance
Sharing ownership of Pillar Two technical positions
Reviewing material treasury transactions for tax control and governance purposes
Promoting tax awareness by educating the wider business on international tax and transfer pricing developments
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a highly capable tax professional with deep international experience and the ability to operate confidently in a complex, fast-evolving global business.
The successful candidate will bring:
Chartered Tax Adviser or qualified Accountant status, with relevant tax training
A degree-level qualification
Big 4 training and strong post-qualification experience
Demonstrated expertise in international tax matters, including:
tax structuring
M&A
tax controversy management
Strong experience in developing, managing, and improving global tax and transfer pricing strategies, policies, and documentation
Exposure to private equity environments, with confidence navigating complex and fast-moving structures
A blend of Big 4 and in-house global organisation experience
Robust transfer pricing knowledge across multiple jurisdictions
A track record of success in high-growth environments, including scaling processes and delivering results effectively
