Senior Manager / Associate Director - Tax

TC Group is seeking a Tax Senior Manager or Associate Director to join its Northampton office, with consideration also given to an experienced Tax Manager ready to step up. The role sits within a growing tax team and focuses on expanding the firm’s advisory offering, particularly for ambitious business owners, SMEs, and larger corporates. This is a permanent, full-time position with flexible hybrid working and 37.5 hours per week. The successful candidate will work closely with the tax team, Client Service Directors, and wider colleagues to grow tax advisory services across the business. Responsibilities include travelling to other offices to support internal teams, responding to internal tax queries, identifying tax planning opportunities, managing and delegating workflow, and helping to implement projects that support Tax Directors and CSDs. The role also involves developing junior team members and spotting opportunities to strengthen advisory capabilities. TC Group is looking for someone with at least three years of advisory experience, mixed tax expertise with a bias toward corporate tax, and a strong advisory background gained in practice. Candidates should be ACA or CTA qualified, or equivalent, and ideally have client-facing experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to keep developing their technical knowledge.
