The Opportunity
As a Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting Henkel’s corporate tax activities, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timely delivery across a range of tax reporting and accounting requirements. You will also provide valuable input on projects, risk management, and changes in tax legislation that affect the business.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will contribute across a broad range of corporate tax activities, including:
Preparing annual external corporation tax returns and computations, ensuring submissions are completed accurately and on time
Preparing quarterly internal corporation tax returns and related computations
Producing quarterly and annual tax accounting schedules and supporting the annual tax review process with external auditors
Reviewing corporation tax returns, computations, and accounting workings to ensure technical accuracy and compliance with current tax legislation
Managing tax forecasting and payments to ensure all corporate tax liabilities are accurately projected and paid on schedule
Providing corporate tax support for projects involving business transformation, organisational change, and system developments
Identifying and monitoring corporate tax risks, while helping to implement appropriate corrective actions
Maintaining transfer pricing documentation to ensure records remain complete and compliant
Communicating tax law and tax authority updates to relevant stakeholders across the business
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented tax professional who can bring both technical capability and strong communication skills to the role.
Essential Requirements
CTA qualification or another recognised professional accounting qualification
At least 2 years of proven experience in corporate tax compliance
Advanced spreadsheet skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience using corporation tax software and SAP
