About the Role
Tax & Accounting Manager
Resolution Life
Location: London, UK (Hybrid)
Contract Type: Permanent
Resolution Life is looking for a talented tax and accounting professional to join its team in London. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong experience in UK tax compliance and reporting who is looking to broaden their exposure across international tax matters within a global insurance group.
This role would suit an individual with expertise in corporation tax, employment taxes, and VAT. Experience in transfer pricing and OECD Pillar II would be advantageous. While experience in financial services is beneficial, it is not essential.
In addition to UK responsibilities, this position offers the chance to contribute to tax compliance and reporting activities across jurisdictions including Bermuda, Singapore, Canada, and Switzerland. There will also be opportunities to support a range of advisory work, including restructuring, financing, M&A, and broader international tax projects.
About the Opportunity
As part of this role, you will take ownership of key tax processes while working closely with internal teams and external advisers. You will play an important role in ensuring compliance, supporting reporting requirements, and helping to strengthen the organisation’s tax capability across multiple regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the UK corporate tax returns and provisions process, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Manage tax filings in Canada, Switzerland, and Singapore, including coordination with local advisers.
- Work closely with Finance to prepare and review UK VAT returns.
- Support UK employment tax matters, including the annual PAYE settlement agreement and assignment-related matters.
- Prepare and maintain transfer pricing documentation in line with compliance requirements.
- Assist with Bermuda Corporate Income Tax compliance.
- Contribute to OECD Pillar II compliance activities.
- Support advisory projects across areas such as restructuring, financing, M&A, and cross-border tax matters.
What We’re Looking For
To succeed in this role, you should bring a strong technical foundation along with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
- At least 4 years of experience in UK tax compliance and reporting.
- A recognised accounting qualification is essential.
- Strong knowledge of corporation tax, employment taxes, and VAT.
- Exposure to transfer pricing and OECD Pillar II would be beneficial.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to build effective working relationships with teams such as Finance, HR, and Legal.
- A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving ability and a willingness to learn.
Why This Role Stands Out
This position offers more than day-to-day tax compliance. It provides the opportunity to expand your expertise in international and cross-border tax while contributing to strategic business projects in a global environment.
If you are looking for a role where you can combine technical tax knowledge with broader business exposure, this could be the ideal next step in your career.
