Policyholder Tax Administrator

Finance & Tax Operations | Atos Group

Join Atos Group, a global leader in digital transformation, and become part of a business shaping a more secure, sustainable, and technology-driven future. We are looking for a Policyholder Tax Administrator to support our Finance and Tax Operations team in delivering accurate, compliant, and high-quality tax administration services.

This opportunity is well suited to someone with experience in financial services, life and pensions, or policyholder tax operations, and who enjoys working with data, regulation, and cross-functional stakeholders.

About Atos Group

Atos Group is a worldwide digital transformation organisation with approximately 63,000 employees and annual revenue of around €8 billion. Operating in 61 countries, the Group delivers its expertise through two distinct brands: Atos for services and Eviden for products.

Recognised as the European leader in cybersecurity, cloud, and high-performance computing, Atos Group is committed to building a secure and decarbonised future. The business delivers tailored, AI-powered, end-to-end solutions that support organisations across a broad range of industries.

The Group’s purpose is to help design the future of the information space — empowering customers, employees, and wider society to live, work, and grow sustainably within a safe and secure digital environment.

The Role

As a Policyholder Tax Administrator, you will play an important role in ensuring tax processes are completed accurately, efficiently, and in full compliance with regulatory requirements. You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to support submissions, reconciliations, and reporting obligations relating to pensions and bond products.

This is a role that combines technical accuracy, regulatory awareness, and collaborative working, making it ideal for someone who is detail-focused and confident handling operational tax activity.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Carry out daily tax data submission activities to third parties and HMRC.

  • Review and sample Customer Services processing to ensure compliance with HMRC rules relating to financial transactions.

  • Complete reconciliations for tax payable to HMRC, confirm liabilities, and help facilitate tax payments.

  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of returns for pension and bond products to HMRC.

  • Build effective working relationships with Customer Service teams and other areas of the business.

  • Manage your workload effectively to meet deadlines and operational priorities.

  • Maintain and strengthen technical knowledge in policyholder and operational taxes.

  • Support the wider Policyholder Tax team by providing analysis, technical guidance, and operational insight to other business areas.

What We’re Looking For

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Strong numerical and analytical ability with excellent problem-solving skills.

  • High attention to detail and a strong focus on quality, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.

  • Ability to work to deadlines and consistently deliver on commitments.

  • Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and interpersonal.

  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

  • Experience handling and interpreting large volumes of information.

  • Understanding of pension products, bond investments, and related tax considerations.

  • Experience within the Life & Pensions industry.

Desirable, But Not Essential

  • Studying towards a tax qualification such as ATT, CTA, or equivalent practical experience.

BPSS Eligibility Requirement

Please note that this position is subject to BPSS clearance. To be eligible, you must have lived and worked in the UK continuously for the past 3 years.
