The Opportunity
We are seeking an ambitious and commercially minded Tax Director – Equity Incentives & Share Reward to become a key part of our expanding tax leadership team.
In this role, you will work with an impressive and varied client base, including:
Entrepreneurial owner-managed businesses
High-growth companies
Established corporate organisations
You will advise on a broad range of sophisticated and commercially focused equity reward matters, while also playing a central role in growing our market presence and enhancing our specialist capability.

What You’ll Be Doing
As a senior leader within the tax team, you will work closely with the Senior Management Team, Tax Partners, and Directors to strengthen and expand our equity incentives offering both locally and nationally.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading the design, structuring, and implementation of approved and unapproved share schemes
Including EMI, CSOP, growth shares, and other bespoke arrangements
Advising on equity tax matters connected to:
acquisitions
disposals
reorganisations
Overseeing and signing off on share reward tax due diligence work
Building strong, long-term client relationships, acting as a trusted and strategic adviser
Partnering with senior leadership to develop and scale the firm’s equity incentives service line
Leading, mentoring, and developing senior managers, managers, and trainees across the tax team
Driving business development activity, strengthening networks and identifying new opportunities for growth
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for a confident and experienced professional who brings both technical expertise and leadership capability.
You will ideally have:
Appropriate professional qualifications
Strong experience within an equity incentives or share reward tax environment
Experience advising on transactions or complex advisory projects
This is desirable, but not essential
A proven ability to lead people effectively and develop high-performing teams
A coaching mindset, with a genuine passion for helping others grow
Strong commercial awareness and an enthusiasm for business development
