The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Senior (qualified) or Semi-Senior (part-qualified) to join our UK Tax team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to broaden their exposure across all areas of UK tax compliance while also gaining hands-on experience in a range of interesting and technically challenging advisory projects alongside the Tax Director.
The ideal candidate will be ATT qualified, or currently working towards qualification, with a genuine interest in progressing to CTA.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you will take on a varied workload that combines compliance responsibilities with advisory exposure and wider team support.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare complex UK tax returns for manager review
Manage a portfolio of straightforward client cases
Oversee the client workflow pipeline throughout the year to ensure deadlines are met
Support the Tax Director on a variety of more complex advisory assignments
Assist with office administration when required, including answering telephones during busy periods
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who is technically capable, highly organised, and motivated to develop their career in tax.
Skills & Attributes
Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn
A clear interest in taxation and professional development
Excellent accuracy and strong attention to detail
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
Good IT skills, including experience with Microsoft Excel and Word
Familiarity with TaxCalc and Digita would be advantageous
Qualifications
Essential / Preferred Education
5 GCSEs, including Maths and English
2 A Levels or equivalent preferred
Professional Qualifications
ATT qualified or part-qualified preferred
Interest in studying towards the CTA qualification
